Jeanette Prestandrea grew up in a creative household, with a constant love for art, fashion and interior design. After studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Jeanette used her business and creative skills in the fashion industry as a product development manager, working with design and production teams.
Jeanette transitioned from a career in fashion to one in art design after having children. Her mother, an artist whom Jeanette credits as her biggest creative influence, introduced her to painting porcelain. Jeanette developed her own style, first painting ornaments to give as gifts to friends. As her friends began to ask her to sell the ornaments so they could give them as gifts too, Jeanette grew her unique line and a business was born.
Vases came next “because I was tired of having just glass vases to hold flowers,” explains Jeanette. “I look at my vases as pieces of art in themselves. With or without flowers, they add to a home’s décor.” Porcelain jewelry boxes, wine bottle corks - Jeanette continues to develop new ideas to add to her business. She is always looking for new ways to make her home—and the homes of her friends and clients—more beautiful.
